Microsoft Excel - GROUPBY Function
You can use MS Excel GROUPBY function to organise your data, group and aggregate data in rows based on the values in one or more columns. Also, GROUPBY function can be used to perform sorting and filtering of grouped data.
Suppose you have a dataset like the one shown below where column A contains Farm activities, column B – Crop names, column C – Status, and Column D – Expenses. Assuming your goal is to summarize the Expenses by Crop names. See results in Table B and C.
